I am taking a dual-credit course to learn the HVAC trade

My senior year is going to be so awesome! I can’t wait to start my HVAC course! As my graduation has been approaching, more and more people have been asking the same question. They all want to know what I want to do after I graduate. Am I going to college? Am I going straight into the workforce? What is my plan? For the longest time, I had no idea what the answer would be to that question. Then, I heard that they offered an HVAC dual-credit course for seniors. This HVAC course would become one of your required electives to graduation from high school, but if you decided to enroll in the HVAC trade school afterward, it could also count towards a college degree! The more I considered becoming an HVAC technician, the more the idea appealed to me. As an HVAC technician, they would pay me to become a certified HVAC technician. I would be given classes to do during the day, and during the afternoon, I would work under an HVAC technician as an apprentice. They would pay me for my work as well! The wages I would be earning as an HVAC apprentice would be comparable to a high-paying job in the work field. HVAC technicians have wonderful job security since nobody is going to be throwing away HVAC units anytime soon. They also are able to find jobs anywhere. Finally, it would enable me to learn how to fix my own HVAC units, which would save me a lot of money in the future. I can’t wait!
