I’ve set new goals and seen proof of the achievement.
I was rather shy and introverted in college. I had a difficult time making friends. I was never involved with any sports. I spent the majority of my time at home, reading, watching movies and playing video games. I gained several pounds during my last two year of high school. By the end of college, I was chubby and self-conscious. Just recently, I decided to get in better shape. I wanted to shed those extra pounds. I enjoy all different types of outdoor physical activities such as hiking, jogging, swimming and paddle boarding. I thought I’d have the highest success rate by working with a personal fitness trainer. I knew this would help me stay focused and push me to greater limits. The fitness trainer recommended that I keep a planner. She said to write down my activity level each day. I use the fitness planner to keep track of the exercises I do and how long I workout. I work out six days per week for at least 30 minutes each session. For three of those sessions, I make sure to workout for 60 minutes. I also try to do some type of fun but physically demanding activity every single afternoon. I also write down everything that I eat. Because of this, I’ve become more responsible. I don’t want to write down a bunch of fast food, snacks or empty calories. I feel good about writing down fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. I add up the amount of water I drink as well. This showed me that I wasn’t getting enough hydration during the day. The planner has been extremely beneficial for me. I’ve set new goals and seen proof of the achievement. I’ve lost weight and toned my muscles. I’ve gained stamina and have more energy throughout the day. I sleep better at night and have lots more confidence.
