My boiler is over forty years old.

My hubby owned our house for several years before she and I got married.

When the people I was with and I celebrated our 25th anniversary, I turned to look at him.

The people I was with and I were married numerous afternoons before Christmas, and there was a blizzard that day. I turned to our hubby, and I asked him why she never had the heating system cleaned or the ductwork cleaned and sanitized. She laughed at me. She told myself and others that the people I was with and I didn’t need to do it because the people I was with and I had a boiler system. Then she laughed even harder when our sister chimed. She reminded it was our anniversary and wanted to think why I was suddenly questioning the heating system? I looked out at the snow that was abruptly building up and it reminded myself and others of the day the people I was with and I got married. The people I was with and I were in a hotel that evening. The blizzard had caused a blackout and there wasn’t any heating in the room. My hubby kept myself and others warm. I told him that I was thinking about what would happen if the people I was with and I were all stranded here and the power went off. The people I was with and I wouldn’t have heating to keep us warm. My hubby told myself and others the people I was with and I had used the fireplace quite often and that would work. She also said the boiler had been there for forty years and it has never let us down. Even though she tried to make myself and others know better, all she did was make myself and others worry more. Our boiler was forty years old, which meant it was well past its lifetime. My hubby gave myself and others a substantial hug and told myself and others to quit working. If it made myself and others know better, right after Christmas, she would have an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C tech come out and look at the boiler.
