Not to mention the fact that the moisture inside was inside, because it had been sealed up for a long while, so a humidifier would also be necessary to use.
After quite a few years of legal wrangling, I finally received my inheritance, which consisted of the fancy rural residence of my deceased parents… There was a huge amount of squabbling between us siblings, most because we are not major fans of each other. Ultimately the will was upheld and followed to the letter, and everybody was able to get their fair share, but I got the biggest peach of them all — the country residence, with all taxes and fees paid on it for many years in advance. Of course, the location had been empty for multiple years at that point, and had fallen into nothing but disrepair. I was still happy to finally have it, but I thought the first order of business would be cleaning it out. Once I went inside I came to see that the Heating & Air Conditioning machine needed to be handled first. If I was going to get rid of so many years worth of dust and dampness, I would need an a/c machine to keep me from getting terribly overheated. Not to mention the fact that the moisture inside was inside, because it had been sealed up for a long while, so a humidifier would also be necessary to use. I called a Heating & Air Conditioning machine tech to come and inspect the property, and she was a pleasant young lady who provided me with the exhausting news I expected. She could try and fix the central AC machine, but it was over fifteen years seasoned at this point and couldn’t live genuinely long even under the best circumstances. Shelling out multiple grand for a new central Heating & Air Conditioning machine is a large expense, but I suppose this location is entirely worth it.
